Sounds Issue - New Build - Please Help

There must be a simple solution to this problem:

 

I have no sound coming from my computer.  However, if I plug in my USB headphones, I do have sound that way.  If I go to Playback Devices I can see my Dell (Displayport) monitor set as default with sound bars actively moving to what I'm watching, but again there is no sound.  

 

I tried plugging the HDMI cable from my monitor to my GPU in addition to the displayport cable, that didn't work.  I tried plugging in the USB cable that came with the monitor to my computer and that didn't work either.  

 

What am I missing here?
