You could bring that cost down a bit by switching to something like a strix RX 580 8GB which is cheaper and still colour neutral with RGB to help with aesthetics... buut if you don't want to give up on your gaming X (which isn't a bad thing) you may have to stretch your budget to around $1100 to finish out the build.

Il go with  Acer R240HY bidx monitor and il squeeze in some cheap mechanical keyboard for like 30 bucks. I know that it will be over my budget but the seconde build you made is basically mine but il switch monitor and the keyboard. My only concern with your monitor is size, I am nott doest it matter to much if it is a 21.5" or a 23.8".

Hey, one more question your power supply in the second build does it have black cables or the ketchup mustard ones.
