Monitor overclocking fail

Johnny_Droid

So, I tried overclocking my Philips monitor half an hour ago using CRU, without doing any research whatsoever, and, of course, I failed miserably... Now my screen is black with text roaming on it and I have no idea how to revert the changes. Safe mode works, and I tried deleting the changes, but as soon as I restart my PC, everything returns to the overclocked values... Some help would be much appreciated ?

If you have multiple ports on your monitor, plug into two of them at the same time. It will be recognized as two monitors, the input you used for overclocking won't work, but you can switch the monitor input to the other port, and access the computer from there, go to display settings and change the settings for your first monitor down to its normal refresh rate.
