I7 7700k voltage

Go to solution Solved by Jeroenv92,

Edit. Found the problem. Somehow my voltage settings didn't save. They did now finally so this one is solved.

Hey all,

Last month i upgraded my system and got myself a 7700k paired with a Asus Rog Strix Z270F Gaming motherboard. It works perfectly, games run buttery smooth.

But...

I noticed that 3 bios updates were available so i updated it to the latest. Now my voltage (On stock) is not 1.2v anymore like with the previous bios but jumping up to 1.36v on llc level1 and to 2.45v on  llc level 7. (I use intel speedstep to downclock when idle)

I cannot figure out how to force the cpu to have a max voltage of 1.2v like it did in the old bios (That was also the stock voltage)

Before updating bios, i resetted it to defaults. I have also tried doing it again now but voltage is going up to 2.8v on stock.

Any ideas what i can do? Or should i just go back to the old bios?

I have set the voltage manually but somehow its not "working"
