New speakers (thank you mother nature)

Earlier this month (June 2nd to be precise), we had rain, thunder, lightning and we think the house got struck - one of the things that borked were the speakers for this computer (see specs below).

• CPU: Intel - Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
• Motherboard: Gigabyte - GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

So I need some new ones. The previous were some logitech 2ch that could also have an ipod connected (headphone cable) and could control the volume output by the speakers. I don't have alot of room, so they'd likely have to be 2ch again . . . .

I'd think $100 (USA) or less should suffice, I think the old speakers were ~$40.

the best in that budget are probably the Edifier R1280T or Micca PB42x

though if you can swing another 50$ then I can recommend the Mini cubes by modhouseaudio, the speakers alone are 120$, but you need an amp and they are selling a speaker + amp set for 150$
