Reset fTPM?

Go to solution Solved by Nocte,

Alright, after staring at the screen for 10 minutes I don't know how I missed "if you have BitLocker". So I just proceeded and pressed Y.

Hi guys,

just finished my Ryzen build. I have already installed Windows and drivers.

However, everytime I boot the PC the screen below pops up. Before I skipped this step by pressing DEL, entering BIOS and then Windows. But I guess it's not normal.

On Asus website I read that you suould press Y "to use your new Ryzen CPU normally", but I have no clue what fTPM is and I do not want to mess up and encrypt everything in my PC. I also do not know what recovery key it talks about.

Question is: should I press Y or N? Will pressing one of these make my boot normal? (Screen -> boot option 1)
