CPU temp vs package temp

Please help

 

I have a AMD FX-8370 with a hyper 212 with two fans and am using HWMonitor 

 

My Cpu temp right now shows 43c but my package temp shows 31c. I only have web browser open now but even under load there is quite a bit of difference between the two readings. 

 

Is this common to have 12c difference between cpu and package temp?

Did I do something wrong?

What one should I pay attention to?

Should I download a different program to monitor temps?

Yes, perfectly normal to have a difference in temperature. Don't worry about it.

Often the largest factor is the two probes are not calibrated and just have different offsets.

That where im lost on the intel tcase and tjunction how am i suppose to know where the actual safe zone than the tradional keep under 60'
