So I am trying to Boot from a USB port with a USB Flash Drive that has a copy of windows ten. I know how to download the software to the HDD I have, but my problem is that whenever I boot from the USB flash drive it will freeze right there (from the boot menu) and I can't do anything but shut down the PC and try again. Yet to no avail. Any help???

Try booting from different USB ports or try a different USB

Try a second USB stick?

What is it your trying to boot into?

Without more details it hard to say.

No, it's just a USB 2.0 port. I have a PC with 4 GB of DDR3 ram, with a core 2 duo (NOTE: I tried it on my Core i5-3470 PC and didn't work there either) and 500 GB of HDD storage.

Im trying to boot windows 10 off this USB stick to then load it onto the 500 GB HDD.

I have tried getting rid of fast boot and stuff like that that could skip some POST setup stuff and still nothing works

Try booting from a CD if you have a drive.

Ok. Most PCs throw a fit if you use a USB 3.0 port, so I wanted to make sure it wasn't that. I'd try reformatting the USB using the Windows Media Creation tool you can download straight from Microsoft. It's what I use, and it works every time (except for when I'm a dunce and use a USB 3.0 port or a dead port).

If it did the same thing on another pc reformat the USB, use the MS usb tool to create the windows 10 media

That's not how it works. You need a special program called WinToUSB to take the ISO and install it onto the USB drive. It sounds like you just have an installer or something.
