Just make sure the motherboard has an updated bios or you have a way of updating the bios. If you don't update the motherboard won't post with kabylake cpus which the Pentium you choose happens to be.

I am updating it using a friend's pc.

Honestly at the level of the 1050 you don't need much to cool it and msi is a really good company so I wouldn't worry
