Ok, I know this was an issue back when Ryzen first came out, but I don't know if Ryzen is still having issues with 4 dimms of RAM vs just 2. Does anyone know if this still holds true, or if the issue has been fixed?

Not sure if this will answer your question, but might give you a little insight. I think the "4 vs 2" argument had to do with Higher Frequency and overclocking RAM and getting a stable environment when there were 4 DIMMs installed vs 2. Not that you can't run 4 DIMMs with any issues using standard DDR4 speed, just with going over a certain frequency with the RAM. I believe that was the issue. Not exactly sure so don't quote me. LOL
