Hello,

Recently my graphics card has been malfunctioning. my screen will just go from whatever I was doing to a solid grey white color. Sometimes it happens 15 seconds after I turn my PC on and sometimes 15 min. A lot of time before it shuts off the screen will go black then come back on with a message popup that says "display driver stopped responding and has been recovered Display driver NVIDIA windows Kernel mode driver version 372.9 stopped responding and has been successfully recovered". I put in an old graphics card in and did some tests and did not have the same problem. I put my card back in (GTX 970FTW) tried replacing the HDMI cable, reinstalling the card, uninstalling and then reinstalling Gforce experience and updating all the drivers of the card and I am still having the same problem. another thing of note is when the screen goes black the fans still spin and I can play the game for a bit after there is no visual display then I have to hold the power button. I even checked MSI afterburner to make sure that it was functioning normally and it was. I am relatively new to computers and wanted to try to fix it myself but I don't know what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
