Q-Code 61 Memory Error Workstation Build

Hey guys,

 

As in the title I'm getting an Error code 61 on the workstation I'm putting together. 

 

Specs:

2x Intel Zeon E5-2630 v4

Asus Z10PE-D16

2x Crucial EUDIMM DDR4 16Gb (CT16G4WFD8213)

Sapphire HD7770

EVGA 750GQ

 

Thoughts? Ideas? Any help?

On the motherboard and/or box there should be a sticker indicating the BIOS version, what BIOS version did the motherboard come installed with?

What memory slots have you got the RAM modules installed into?

What storage device(s) are you using?

Didn't come with a manual, and cant seem to fund any stickers, but it says Rev 1.04 on the board. I have the sticks i  the A1 and E1 slots, and I have a Crucial MX100 and a AD Black.

There should be a sticker with the serial number and BIOS version on it. It could be on the front or back of the motherboard, or on the side of the 24 pin power socket.

There is a possibility that the motherboard has an older BIOS version compatible with only the V3 CPUs, and requires a BIOS update to support the V4 processors.

Closest thing I found to a version number is 3104, the last 4 digits on a sticker at the bottom of the board.

That should be fine then, BIOS revision 3104 added compatibility for those processors.

 

Have you tried using one CPU and one RAM stick at a time?
