H100i v2 Problem

Hey guys, my friend's H100i v2 seems not to cool his CPU. He can hear the coolant pumping and the fans are running. Any clues?

Huh, um, check thermal paste, make sure its mounted properly, take it off and reapply thermal paste, check the plastic part isnt on the bottom of the block

Also, is it a case of as soon as you turn on or is it gradual?

He's getting it RMA'd. And it's not the CPU, it's fine with his old Dark Rock 3. And it's as soon as it turns on. Gradual if going from room temp to 70º+ is gradual haha.
