Hello i bought a mother board with 5 pin fan headers and the case has 4 pin fans. does any one know where i can get a 5 pin to 4pin adapter.

there are no 5 pin fan headers, your mobo probably has 4 Pin PWM and your fans are 3 pin. You can plug the 3 pin fans into the 4 pin headers no problem. PWM just allows for more precise fan rpm control

No it has 5 pin fan headers (its an old lga 771 mobo). and my fans are 4 pin PWM.

Is it a Dell or HP motherboard? --they can use proprietary headers.
