Hello,

This is a weird one....

I once saw a video of a guy who used the OBD-II port on his car to use the car as a controller for pc games (asseto corsa, city car driving etc.). I know it's possible because the car does send signals via obd but i don't know how to do it. If anyone could help me with this "project", I would be grateful.

Thank You

If you need to ask that question here you are not ready for it. It is really complex to do this and you would need knowledge about car computers aswell as computer drivers and software.

What kind of data do you want to get from the car? It will mostly send sensor data (such as temperatures and pressures) and your car's RPM etc. It will not send data such as position of the steering wheel or (I think) positions of pedals so it may crap all over the project at the start.

Try, fail, learn, repeat...

Pedal Sensor is connected to obd

From what i read, there is a steering angle sensor

But how are you gonna steer when the car is turned off/stationary?
