source? cause GamersNexus has something to say otherwise..

and case doesn't really matter. most cases are made from the same components (metal/steel/sheet metal), with similar airflow. components can cool themselves quite well - airflow doesnt matter unless you're running a 700w+ beast with dual 1080tis that can barely cool themselves.

even one fan can cool a modern system quite efficiently.

you're using a 2014 test as a guide which is using DDR3 memory modules and the 2-module configurations beats the single mode in almost every test? But I mean, if you reaaaaaally need to shave those 5 to 10 bucks... well...

whether it's ddr3 doesn't really matter. I updated the post btw, with another 2015 test - still with DDR3 but not much changed between the two standards - ddr4 just allows for higher speeds and lower voltages.

and you specifically mentioned gaming - with the gaming tests there is no difference. with other tasks; yes. but not gaming.

idk

It's a fucking cache - have fun with glorified SSD. For the same price as a Optane drive and a 1TB HDD you can grab a 120GB SSD and a 1TB HDD - and the SSD makes everything on it faster, not just the shit in the cache

I'm starting to think that he is just a fanboy.
