You can save money/spend a little more by getting the 1600 and then you get a CPU cooler and the MSI Amour has a bad reputation for its cooling so go for a GAMING X or any good brands

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

I always advise this please bare with me - Get a cheap keyboard and mouse to start with. You can add these with ease as and when you have the money. Upgrading the GPU or CPU is much harder to do. Go with the best Hardware you can afford right now then add shinies. Also you want at least 3000mhz ram for Ryzen gaming

Is there a specific mouse or keyboard you could recommend for me? Thanks for the feedback.

Hi, I am currently in the process of planning out my first gaming pc, and I would like some feedback. (Budget is limited to about $1100 USD) Here's the link https://pcpartpicker.com/user/crazytuna/saved/#view=GnJrHx Thanks.

what games are you planning on playing and what settings are you expecting? Your hardware doesn't really look like you're going to be getting anywhere near 144hz that your monitor can produce if your plan is to play ultra settings on intensive games.

Planning on playing Rainbow Six, Witcher 3, Rust, Far Cry, GTA 5 and some others. I expect to play on ultra settings as every benchmark of the rx 580 has easily done that. The reason for the 144hz was simply future proofing.

yeah it can definitely run those games and definitely you're gonna have a good time doing it... just saying if your intent was 144 fps, your hardware isn't anywhere close to that. You will also probably want a 7700k (or 7740k on the new X299 chipset) if you intend on getting there in the future once your GPU hardware catches up.

but there is also nothing wrong with getting a 144hz monitor so that you can run faster in your shooter games and MOBA's and whatnot, and then still get normal frame rates on other games. Might get a bit of tearing, but so long as you know that going in you should be fine.
