  1. Reinstalled the cooler and everything is fine now, not sure what the issue was but the temps are low now. Thanks!
  2. Fan speeds are around 3000 rpm. I used thermal paste, so I think I'm going to reinstall the cooler, and do reapply thermal paste.
  3. I am using the wraith stock cooler that was included with my CPU. I'm pretty sure it is properly installed. I tried to take a picture, though I don't think it will be of much help. The fans are spinning fine so I know it is at least working.
  4. As the title states, my cpu, a ryzen 7 2700x, is hitting temps around 80C while under >10% load. I've used multiple programs to verify this, and they all have it at around 80C when at idle. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Thanks in advance.
  5. We know the power supply and ram work as they were part of another build, though we did not test the mobo, CPU, and gpu until now. The CPU is a ryzen 7 2700x
  6. Checked all the connections and they are fine, my mobo does not have a speaker. How do I go about shorting it?
  7. That is how I have it plugged in, and when I press the power button on the case, still nothing happens
  8. The motherboard is an Asus prime x470 pro. My friend tried the screwdriver thing earlier and it didn't work.
  9. Motherboard is an Asus prime x470 pro This is the configuration the mobo manual has:
  10. I'm fairly certain, the motherboard instructions are very poor for the one pin connectors, but I've tried every combination it had on the manual
  11. So I just replaced my motherboard, cpu, and GPU in my computer, and when I turn the psu on, the motherboard rgb comes on, yet the power button on the PC does not turn the pc on. I have tried plugging everything back in, and I know for a fact the psu is working, as it was powering my previous build earlier today. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
  12. As the title states, i'm planning on switching from Intel to Ryzen, meaning, obviously, I will be switching motherboards. I have done research and have found conflicting experiences, some people didn't re install windows, and were fine, while others did and were also fine. I have also seen some say to backup your hard drives and windows. So what i'm asking is what experience do you guys have with switching cpu and motherboard on windows. My windows in currently unactivated if that changes anything. Thanks in advance for any help!
  13. So usually in siege I get around 140 frames. Now I get around 80, and the longer i'm playing for, the more the frames drop.
  14. I have the seagate barracuda, but for one more dollar for double the cache, I'd go for the WD blue.
