I'm making my very first PC, I plan on using this throughout college for personal usage (Mainly gaming). I went on pcpartpicker.com to start a build and I would like to know if there is any flaws/bottle neck points. The components of this PC build consist of the Intel i5-7600, Z270 A-Pro, Ripjaws V Series 16 GB DDR4 2400, NZXT Kraken X61, Sandisk 120 GB SSD, Western Digital Blue 1TB HDD, GTX 1070 8GB SC, NZXT S340 Elite Black and SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold fully modular.

I'd go Ryzen 5 as everyone else said. I'd recommend a B350 motherboard to go with the CPU. In that price point I'd go for a 1500x or 1600 on sale. Also if your budget allows for it, go for an EVGA G3 PSU as the NEX ones are crap and wires are yellow and red. That will stick out like a sore thumb in a beautiful tempered glass build like yours. My NEX is dying already and I've had it for a few months. Now for the SSD. If the motherboard that you'll buy in the end B350 for the Ryzen 5 or Z270 for i5, has slots for it; go for teh intel 600p 128gb ssd. It is about 10-15 GBP more than a conventional SSD last time I checked and a lot faster. As for RAM, if your budget allows for it, go for a higher clocked set. Finally, if you're in the UK then a website called Overclockers UK do an MSI Seahawk X GTX 1070 for the same price as the SC EVGA and it is liquid cooled. Sorry if I've overwhelmed you with info and I know that I just changed basically everything in your build but I hope that my advice helps. Good luck making it. I made mine a few months back and it's actually quite enjoyable.
