How good is the Wraith Spire? I am thinking of getting a 1600 and taking my current CPU+MOBO+RAM and making a PC for my sister with it. But then I'd have to wait for the AM4 mount for my Cryorig H7. So how does it compare to the H7? Easiest would be to just keep the H7 installed on my current CPU and use that in the other PC, but only if there isnt much of a difference between the Spire and H7.

For a stock cooler its good, can be a little loud at full load though.

mine has got me to 3.8ghz @ 1.27 volts, tops out about 67C after a few continuous cinebench runs.

I might just use it then, RGB too :)

Would the 1600 be a worthy upgrade for me ya think? (specs in sig)

the 1600 doesn't come with the RGB cooler sadly :( has to be the 1700 for that. (or if it does i haven't figured out how to work it, only has a single 4 pin connector on)

Definitely worth the upgrade, I actually upgraded to it from an a8 7650k a little over a week ago.

A guy known as Hoosier hardware did a video on how well these perform.

I found it informative to say the least and quite impressive considering they are stock.

It feature a r5 1600

The benchmarks at the end are against the Corsair H100i V2 and the stock cooler gives it a run for its money considering its 0$ vs >80$ for AIO.

check my PC build here: https://valid.x86.fr/jyjc2n

b350 tomhawk arctic h.51 bios, Corsair LPX ram running at 3200mhz

case is a 35$ Zalman Z3 plus white with a cooler master 10$ (15MIR)hyper t4 cooler

20$ EVGA 450w bt (black cables)

150$ 1060 3gb@2.1ghz
