Audio issuesM-audio Ozone

Found  a M-Audio Ozone and took it along with my cheap ASUS laptop to Montreal.I get no Sound from my m30xs .I adapt a pair of cheap sony earbuds directly plugged into my PC and it works.I adapt the headphones to 1/4 inch with a dollarama adpater and  it still dosen't work.The ozone is using the windows 7 drivers but the ozone control panel come up and works fine
