Need Help with new rx580

I just bought a a nee power color rx580 8gb golden sample card and for some reason i both oc and silent i get memory errors at 2000 mhz which is stock memory speeds and idk why any help would be great

I think your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU

ya i kinda figured but im having vram memory errors and i didnt think a bottle neck would cause vram to error up like that

I didn't think it would cause issues like that either.

I'm not familiar with a sample card. What's that?

from what powercolor said all it is a binned gpu like the kingpin its a marketing gimick lol

 

it comes factory overclocked with 2 settings switch on the pcb oc which does 1425 and silent which does 1411

gpu memory errors im not sure how it works but hwinfo64 detects them and i no there not good for a gpu

If you're games are running without crashing, it doesn't matter
