mystarting123 defaultpage

uhmm..

mystarting123 is my default searchengine and when i try to change it to google chrome it immediately goes back to mystarting123.

i cant even delete it

i also removed from the target thingy

this is making me mad and i really need your help because i've tried every thing i know and it doesnt do anything

if i could i would just reformat my pc but i can't backup some files yet.

it was not me who installed. but a friend who used my pc.

i can't do anything about it.

Please quote me when responding to me.   The only real way to remove it is manually if a virus scan doesn't pick anything up.  Personally, I would use CCleaner or Iobit's only useful tool hence their uninstaller program.  Search or any new programs similar to that name, and/or that name.  CCleaner and Iobit's uninstaller should fully remove it at that level.  However, you will have to go into every browser your computer has and manually remove it after that.  You can't do it before because until the program is gone it will just hijack your browsers again.

i tried the uninstaller with ccleaner i can't find the mystarting thingy.

i'll try iobit next if its better

You should make Google as the default search engine before you remove the unwanted one so that you can remove it. When a search provider is selected as the default, it can't be deleted.

If you still don't know what to do exactly, you can refer to the removal steps in this page. It is safe to click on.

If you have to say a site is safe to click on, I think it is better to leave the URL instead of a hyperlink
