Boot Priority

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

No. Boot priority is when you have operating system (in this case Windows) on different drive. If you have Windows on one drive then you are good to go

If I install windows on an SSD and also have an hdd as extra storage, will I have to change boot priority or other settings?

Howdy,

To avoid confusion, disconnect all drives with the exception of the SSD.  If you are using the Windows Media Creation tool, installing a clean install of Win10 is extremely easy and the process is pretty quick.  During the process, the installer will take care of all the appropriate settings and install Win10 on the SSD.

After the install is complete, then shut down the machine, hook up the HHD and you're all set.

The installer will create/install Win10 to the SSD (C: drive) and the HHD will setup as the (D: drive).

Glad to help.  Now the tricky part is learning the in's and out's of Win10.

Ive been running windows 10 on my laptop for a while. I know most of it as well as how to protect your privacy and stuff.
