SSD problem?

Hi, I bought this NVME PCI SSD: Plextor M8Pe(y) 256gb

(bought it ~1month ago)

Max read speed 2500mb/s

max write speed 1500mb/s

 

my pc: i5-4460 3.2ghz

32gb ram

cx430w psu

gigabyte z97 gaming 7 mobo

gtx 750 ti 2gb vid card

How extremely fast is that?! I am using Windows 8.1pro (i installed it a few weeks ago) and it loads ~~ 2x slower, it's still fast but shouldn't it be much faster than a SATA SSD?! Am I doing something wrong or what? Please help, I feel like my money was wasted....
