I have a media PC being used for music, youtube, movies etc. which I am tring to be controlled entirely remotely with no need for a keyboard and mouse connected to the actual media PC, this is worked to a point as I have the PC now being controlled properly I am just having issues with the sound as it does not play through the speakers connected to the media PC, but it will through the laptop connected to it, which is not what I want. How do I fix this so the sound plays through the speakers connected to the media PC.

Thanks in advance.

what do you use to remote control the media pc ? something like VNC or windows remote desktop ?

when connected to the media PC, open the sound settings and look if something can be changed there

I am using Teamspeak to control the media PC, realVNC didn't work and RDP would only show log in screen on the screen connected to the media PC.

Tried to set defaults etc. and it didn't work

Speaking of VNC didn't work, why does it doesn't work? Have you tried to use VNC password (instead of Windows Login) on RealVNC?
