So my ethernet was working for a few days. However, since around 2 days ago, my ethernet stopped working. There is apparently 'no internet' and it is apparently an 'unidentified network'.

I've tried all the commands that the internet has told me to try, but they just don't seem to work. Also, after troubleshooting, it states that the ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration.

In case you wish to know, my router is made by Virgin. However, my room is too far to be using an ethernet cable so I use the BT Flex Powerline Adapters to connect to the ethernet. I don't think the adapter is a problem though.

Update: found out it IS the powerline adapter that is the issue. any help on this?

try to restart the powerline adaptor and see the indicator, is it normal? (in my case all must be green). Most likely something introduced interference to your powerline.

As previous poster suggestion, I would try that first, just to make sure there is not problem with the router itself.

I would love to move the router right into my room. However, I would need to get a wire/extender going through literally the whole of my home to get the router in or ever near. Also, I share the router with other people and they would probably be against it, since my room would probably be too far away for them to connect to it.
