First Micro build

Hello all, 

 

Building a compact form factor for my wife, just want to hear everyone's opinions. I am right at the budget she wants to spend on it, ideally if we can drop it down some, I am all for it to please her. I am shopping newegg only, so keep that in mind. I am up for changing whatever needs to change to make the best bang for buck. Keep in mind, I do want to keep the ssd, hdd, the additional fans, and the case. Here is the breakdown of the build thus far. Thanks in advance. I know Ryzen is out there, I just have been using intel for so long, hard to break me back to AMD, but not opposed.

I'm liking this build up. I considered a few of these options. Price is still the same as it does not include the additional fans and CPU heatsink (I do not like stock coolers) but I still like it even though price doesn't really change as there is a good upgrade with cpu and gpu. Thanks.

there's a big 200mm fan on the core v1, you shouldn't have to spend extra on fans unless the temps get past mid-80 degrees Celsius. having an aftermarket heatsink for a locked CPU will be quite overkill so I'd recommend you just stick to stock.

Yeah the 200mm will help, I am looking to add fans for additional circulation/exhaust since it is a compact build. While the heat may never reach that, it is just a general preference even with locked cpu's. I'd rather spend the extra $80 to ensure a good (overkilled) cooled system. I do appreciate the list though.

you don't need to spend $80 just on cooling, that's a waste of money tbh. just get 1-2 80mm fans for the core v1 and you'll be fine.
