fastboot not responding

I am in fastboot on my rs988, but my cmd will only say waiting for device.  I have installed the drivers and I have the files.  Any help?

u have to enter fastboot mode not bootloader..there's a fastboot option in the bootloader u need to enter it by pressing the power button or something.

after that type fastboot devices in cmd to see if your phone is detected.

I got it I needed a driver for it to respond and function.  I forgot how2computer there
