Second hard drive disconnects randomly

Im having problems with my second hard drive, for some reason it disconnects randomly for no reason. i dont know if its the hard drive or something else, i dont think its the sata cable i change sata cables but still having the problem and i have to shut down and on it multiple times to use it again.

probably a bad hdd, run a smart data check with crystal disk info.

Hello, I know that this thread is old, but I have the same problem. My second disk is a hdd wd. The disk seems to be OK. I changed sata cables and the problem occurs again.

Sorry for the late reply, didnt check website for a while. The problem was the hdd. Try and install windows on it if it crashes then its the hdd.
