Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a fan splitter that has its own power but takes instructions from a motherboard header. I want to be able to control 6 fans from the CPU header, but the motherboard header can't provide enough power for all those fans.

Thank you,

If they are all 4 pin PWM fans you can get a power PWM splitter if not then you have a couple of options for 3 pin fans if you want a separate fan control system something like the NZXT grid+ V2 or Phanteks PWM input 3 pin DC voltage output fan hub.

That was exactly what I was looking for. The one that came with my case has no external power! so odd, anyway thank you!

The fan splitter I use in my water cooling look is the Swiftech PWM 8 way splitter that works really well.

CPU: 5900X   MOBO: MSI Tomahawk x570

GPU: Asus tuf oc 3080

May add the other bits of my system later on
