I have a set of wireless headphones with a recessed micro usb port for charging. I love the headphones but using the charging port is a massive pain in the ass, so I got a magnetic tear away charging cable... Unfortunately, the recessed port is too small for the cable and it's shroud(the seller did not provide dimensions so i guessed). I'd like to avoid using a dremel on my headphones to make it fit so I need something male to female that's about 1 cm long or a similar length just to extend the port clear of its recess. Otherwise I'll have to use a longer cable and have it look like crap.

Does anyone know of something like this? My google foo has failed me thus far.

Perhaps a picture or headphone model would help us understand your problem.

It's a logitech G533, not that I'm super proud of that. Here's an example shot of the port in question.

By the way of a review they are pretty good... if you replace the earpads they come with and ignore the charging port.

You could try monoprice's premium micro usb cables. If you buy them from their website instead of Amazon or likewise they are super cheap too. They have the smallest ends I've used, and otherwise great cables too
