Pre Overclock crashing

So general question about overclocking.

 

Whenever i have tried to even click on anything to do with overclocking my computer shuts itself off the second i click "ok" to enter overclocking on bios or amd overdrive. I dont even have plans of overclocking but i just wanted to look at it. I have a stock cooler so i never would overclock but i cant even move the clock up by .1

 

Anyone know why this immediate shut down happens without me touching anything? Just getting onto the program. I would assume it has too do with temps and my cpu not wanting to die, so going into safe mode by shutting itself off.
