This isn't supposed to happen, but when it does (happened to me with USB drives before), one of the drive will not be accessible.

 

To fix that, simply go into the Drive manager and change the drive letter.

One drive will not show up. I've had USB drives kick a mapped network drive out when they used the same letter. You can change the drive letter in disk management. 

 

I would advise assigning permanent drives a letter late in the alphabet so there's less chance of a conflict when you plug in a new drive.

What if it's the boot drive I want to change
