E-ATX to big for my E-ATX case. :/ 24 pin collision

Downn

Hello everyone! My rig needed an update. So i just ordered a completly new one.

I thought everything would work out just fine. But now that i got my watercooler ASUS Maximus IX Extreme, i see that the 24 pin is angeled to the side.
This colides with my Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ATX GLASS case as you can see in the pictures.

The case desciption said it was compatible with an E-ATX. But i honestly did not notices the motherboard had angeled 24 pin header.
This have had me crying on the floor for a week now.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Cut the case? Is there any angeled or shorter pins?

I have made it fit, by rising the standoff screws. But thats to cheap, and looks horrible.

Sorry for my bad english.

Problem is that the plugg is to long, and touches the case. I will draw on a photo to better explain.
If i could cut off the bottom where i have filled in. It could possibly fit. But i have no idea how.

Why not just have the 24 pin go through the cut out where the phanteks logo is?

If the cable is long enough, so will that solve the whole problem.

Also, case supports E-ATX upto 264mm, while your motherboard is 272mm. So that adds to the problem.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.
