No Internet after cmd command

Hello

I tried to deactivate cortana on a website they said with this command here i could disable it: netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="Block Cortana Outbound Traffic" dir=out action=block program="%windir%\systemapps\Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy\SearchUI.exe" enable=yes profile=any

after i typed this in i cant enter the internet anymore
i think this happend after only typing in: netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="Block Cortana Outbound Traffic" dir=out action=block

this seems to be the problem, you didnt specify you want to block cortana program so it probably blocked all outgoing traffic

Go in to Windows firewall with advanced security and click on 'Outbound rules'. Afterwards you should see a list of rules and among them there should be the rule that you created. Find the rule that's name 'Black Cortana Outbound Traffic' and diable/enable it by right clicking.

Thank you netfex and simonbyrial i went with your method simonbyrial since i was able to see if more gets blocked that was a nice way. Thank you very much to both off you problem solved in seconds. thanks a lot!

The only way i see is to modify the registry... Not recommended. I'll do some digging and come back.

Ok thank you, i found also an instruction for registry but at the end it says i should click on Windows Search in the registry but i dont have this folder.

sry for the late reply... here is the guide but sadly its in german, i use this german one bc i am from switzerland and i havent done anything anymore after my NET issues cortana is still active.
