I think this might be a pretty easy question to answer. I tried to google search for it, but perhaps I just didn't phrase it correctly. I've seen how certain memory is better for Ryzen, like using the samsung b-die. My question is, does any of that or cas latency matter to much with Intel cpu's?

Not really, it's not so much the low latency that aids Ryzen, its more the fact that it just plays nicer with Samsung B die - I have my Hynix based (I think) Gskill 3200 RGB ram running 2933mhz at the moment. As for Intel Just buy the fastest you can afford, don't worry about timings
