Hi, I am having issues with booting a rig that I am building. Every time I boot it give a "no memory detected" beep code. The specification is:

  • CPU - i7 7700 3.6 GHz, stock cooler
  • Mobo - Asus B250-a
  • RAM - HyperX 8gb DDR4 2133 MHz (2x4gb)
  • PSU - 500w EVGA 80 Plus Bronze
  • GFX - Not inserted at this time
  • OS - None

Whenever it is powered it just gives the beep code. I have done the relevant troubleshooting listed on the troubleshooting page, I have also consisted the mobo book and the websites for the CPU, RAM and mobo. As well as trying another memory kit which is a single stick. I posted this error a couple of months back and I thought it was a broken mobo, this mobo has now been replaced and so was the memory. Both are new and when building the handling of components was paramount. I am out of ideas now, anything will be appreciated.
