motherboard driver issue

so my friend built a computer and she got a msi b150 pc mate motherboard. so we were trying to get the internet to work on it and we tried the LAN drivers from msi's website but they didn't seem to work at all, not sure what to do now cause i've never encountered an issue where the driver just literally doesn't work. if someone could give me some wisdom it'd be very appreciated. (i went to the companies website a company called realtek and it just looks really shady)
