What Should I get?

Well I am planing my first PC build and I am trying to find out display to get. If you have any advice about anything please help.

 

My first choice was 1440p 144hz G-sync IPS but I have heard so many people say the Asus and Acer G-sync Displays are very bad when It comes to quality control I don't want to pay $800 for I display that has allot of Back light bleed and dead pixels. If you have a Asus or Acer 1440p 144hz Display please tell me your experience.

 

Also I was thinking how bad is lag when you use V-sync Because I would just use that if I don't have G-sync
