Computer doesn't respond?

Hello!

I've built a new PC recently, and sometimes it doesn't seem to respond. I'd know this whenever I press alt tab, in which it doesn't respond. Whenever I type anything on Google, it doesn't respond. However I can use Google normally until I type anything anywhere in Google. This is fixed when I restart my computer, but this keeps on occurring from time to time. Anyone know of this issue and what I could do to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, chrome. And 16GB ram, and a I7 6700K. Cooling is fine, around low 20's when idle.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Google Chrome. I assume you already tried rebooting?

Rebooting doesn't help. Though I may not have explained it right. It doesn't happen exactly upon reboot, but more so after a while of using the computer. I'm not sure if chrome itself is the problem, as every other program alongside the alt tab bar as I've mentioned also doesn't respond. However I'll still reinstall chrome and see if it helps the problem.

Check Task manager and see if Chrome is gobbling up system resources. It tends to do that. ;)

Oh, I suppose that could be the reason, I'll write back if there are no differences. Thanks!

Okay yeah, I'm back unfortunately, the problem persists and the memory seems to be fine. I've taken an image while the problem is occurring, so I'm still not sure what the problem could be. :/3dbf29a875.png

I had random extensions on like Bing2Google and whatnot, I've removed them all now and just left UBlock Origin on, so if there are any changes I'll write back!

Alright, I've cleared my cache. However I feel like it's a problem with the computer itself, as every time I go to restart when that problem is occurring 'GVR Backgroundwindows3' appears as a prevention to restarting. This may be normal, I'm not sure. Anyways, I'll write back if it's still occurring. Thanks for your help thus far!
