PC CRASHED!

Installed my new GPU a Gigabyte 1080ti, and my pc crashed after the driver disc tried to boot up geforce. I did a basic reset but the pc crashed again at the same point. Why? and i am now completely wiping my drives and doing a reset. This is taking hours. Any idea as to how to get rid of windows crashes? or to hack the way back in? Thanks

Crashed? I am pretty sure screen goes black on display driver installation

should have tried using DDU Uninstaller to wipe the old video drivers first, then doing a clean install of the geforce drivers from the nvidia website

 

reset windows is usually a last resort

Reboot in safemode, then uninstall the driver,restart without drivers then DL new one from nvidia
