I've had this problem for the longest time now (months... maybe a year) and it's always been annoying so I think it's time I try to fix it. Usually my PC crashes at least a few times every day. When this happens it doesn't blue screen or black screen, usually a random pattern just appears across the screen and the audio freezes up (hard to explain) I've noticed that it crashes when I'm browsing the web. It also crashes a LOT when I'm in a csgo lobby or at the main menu. If I leave it there for a  few minutes it will most likely crash. It never crashes while I'm actually in game, however. So what's the first thing I should do to determine what's causing these crashes? BTW I'm on Windows 10

did you overclock anything? could you try a clean boot and try using the PC?

No overclocking, and I tried formatting my HDD a while ago but that didn't help

Next time it happens, open Event Viewer and check both the Critical and Error categories in the "Summary of Administrative Events".  Post a screenshot.

I know my GPU is working, but how would I check to see if there are any problems?
