IAR117

Excluding speakers

Able to drive 100w speakers

Is in my budget. I don't mind if it's refurbished or new, just not from eBay used. Thanks

No, but it can play any Source Engine game ;)

Where are these going to be used? Nearfield? Home Theatre.  If it's nearfield, you can get away with any cheap chi-fi mini amp.  If it's home theatre, you're going to need a stereo receiver like the Yamaha R-S202BL.

microsystem isn't a thing.

you are looking for a small amplifier.

Mini hi-fi system, you know like an all in one cd player with amp and DAC built in, eg. Denon M40DAB

It's just an AIO HiFi system for a bedroom. I've listed an example

That's an amp..

You're not going to find anything good under $200.  Either the amp will be shit (20wpc with 10% THD at 1kHz is absolute garbage) or it will come with speakers that have proprietary connectors, or both.

Just get a CD player and stick a cheap SMSL amp on top of it.  It looks ugly, but it gets the job done and it can hold you over until you afford a proper amp to stack it with.

What do you want it to do?
Just have a CD player built in too?
Anything else?

it will be much cheaper and better value to get them separate. Not many cd player /amp combos

Okie doke. I will look into it. My only issue is that I need the whole setup to be compact. Any suggestions?
