Hey guys,

I have a 1700X with 16 GB DDR4 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX.

Still Davinci Resolve is lagging massively when trying to edit some 4k footage of a DJI drone.

Is it RAM related or does the CPU not have enough oomph to work properly?

Shouldn´t be CPU as it is running at max 35%.

But the RAM is at a solid 90% all the time.

Will it be enough to upgrade to 32 GB or do I need 64 GB?

Thanks

Just now, iggybo said:

It should be good enough, I think you should lower the playback resolution
