Hello, so I had an older machine that I was using as a work station a while back, and so after I got a new computer I decided to turn this computer into a home server. So I bought a copy of Windows Server 2012r2 and installed it. For the most part everything like networking and chipset drivers installed fine. However I am wanting to use it also as an export server for my video editing so I don't tie up my computer whenever I would like to export something.  The computer that has 2012r2 installed on it is an Dell Optiplex 960 computer, with the intel chip set, and the problem I am running into is that I cannot install the driver for it, and every time I try I get a pretty little window saying "your system does not meet the minimum requirements" and for Adobe Media Encoder to work properly I need a video driver. I have also tried to use the compatibility settings section for the install file to see if I can trick it into installing, but the same message pops up.  Can anyone help me?

Right-click the Start button and click Device Manager. Expand the "Display adapters" tab.

If you see Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, you don't have graphics drivers installed.

If you see something else, that means you should have them installed.

If you don't have them installed, usually you can find them from Windows Update: Right-click on the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and click Update Driver Software..., then on the window that pops up, click Search automatically for updated driver software. In just a moment it should say Searching online for driver software..., this can take anywhere from 5 seconds to a few minutes. If it takes longer, Windows Update might be interfering with the driver installation, and you can usually fix that by rebooting the server and doing it again (Or manually stopping and restarting the Windows Update service, kill TrustedInstaller.exe). It should be able to locate the driver automatically. You'll need to be connected to the internet in order for it to be able to find it. If for some reason it can't, or doesn't search online, you'll have to enable that in Control Panel > Hardware > Devices and Printers, then right click the device labelled with the name of the computer, then Device Installation settings. Select Yes.

If you saw that your display driver is actually installed before, then I'm not sure what to say. Windows 8+ (Server 2012+) requires a WDDM 1.0+ display driver, the kind that is compatible with Windows Aero on Windows Vista and 7.

Hope this helps!
