Hello LTT,

After my previous post about my display turn off yet monitor and PC was on. I was able to fix it through uninstalling my driver and installing a new one.

Now, this is a new problem where my system completely shut off, and I have to boot it manually.

I have no idea what it is going on. It is getting ridiculous now, lol.

I have checked my Temps using CPUID HWMonitor for CPU and GPU. They all seem normal from what I can see. CPU: 40*C to 55*C and GPU: 46*C to 53*C.

Does anyone know what is causing it?

I had this problem once and it was a motherboard mounting problem. I only had a couple screws holding it in and found on a website somewhere It could be a grounding issue as the screws are somtimes used as grounding points for the motherboard and when it was nocked it would hardlock and restart. This fixed my problem.

Huh? Weird. I had this PC for 6+ years and never had that issue before until now. Could it be software issue too?

It could be a lot of things really. Most of the time If its software or drivers you'll get a bsod. It its full locking up and turning of it may be a psu issue. How old and what psu do you have? Also full PC specs

PSU, I think I had it for two years or so (upgrade from my Corsair CX 650W).

Edit: Plus it doesn't help my feel when I am starting to upgrade my PC to AMD Ryzen, lol. I was going to give my current PC to my dad, so he can get rid of his AMD Athlon II x4, lol.

Another thing is if its plugged into like a splitter from the wall it may be getting bad power. If it is try a different wall socket without anything else plugged in to it.

I gave my old PSU to my little bro PC.

Lol ok well I can't really help much more. Check the CPU and 24pin on the motherboard and all cables really are in properly. Other than this I'm not really sure sorry. Like I said I had this problem and it ended up being somthing so simple as screwing the mobo in properly. Was a good few weeks headache tryna figure it out.

I might have a suspicion it started when my NVIDIA "Share" or whatever decide to stop working few days ago, and the random PC shutdown started doing it. I supposed I have to reinstall my driver again. :S Gosh, I hate it when you are buying stuff, and your current stuff started to break like getting your paycheck and your cars decide to break down.

I thought both of them mean the same thing unless I am wrong.

Anyway, it just shut off randomly. After I manually boot it, it doesn't happen until next day when I reboot my PC and same process happened.

Hmm strange, I'd still be looking more towards a psu issue than software. But who noes, it really could be anything. Goodluck man.
