I have a 360gb HDD for games and docs and a 1tb HDD for photos and archives.

I want to combine the 360gb HDD into the 1tb HDD and remove the smaller drive. What's the best way to combine them without having to reinstall things?

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD

you cant if you formatted the disks by default or if one of those drives hosts the OS.

but here is a technet article on how to make a spanned volume

how much data do you have and spare space to play with?

Might be a practical use for that puzzle with transporting water between different sized containers.

You might have to invest in a proper backup drive. WD blue 2TB are quite cheap

I don't quite yet have enough data to warrant that purchase, but soon. I can fit it with like 200gb to spare. So an HDD purchase is on the list, but not urgent.  Ithink I'm gonna use the 320gb drive as a backup for for some sensitive files, that I will plug in every so often.
