Planning to get this with a 7700k because it's cheap and has over 3.6ghz RAM clock, but i've heard it has problems when it comes to detecting skylake and kabylake, need your opinion.

You need a skylake chip to install the new bios in which allows you to use kabylake chips.

Asus motherboards have a feature that let's you flash bios without a cpu, would look up on that if the issue is the price range.

EDIT: It's for x99 sadly :(

Do you know any good mobo that's under 120$ and has over 3000mhz ram speed?

Kind of hard but why do you want 3000mhz of ram?

Ram speed is not all that importnant in most cases unless you are doing something that needs fast ram linus talks about this here

Also if you could slightly go off budget there are tons of motherboards at the price range of 140-180 dollars with good ram speeds and good specs
for example the z270a prime from asus can have ram up to 3866Mhz (170euros) https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-Z270-A/

I'm already going to get a good deal for the 3GHZ RAM, so why not grab a good mobo for it, also thanks for the suggestions but I asked for a under 120$ mobo :\

As I said if the ram can go up to over 3000mhz it doesn't mean it should but you should really experiment with it get your benchmarks and find your sweet spot.also I have not looked in the under 120 budget for motherboards but I'm sure you will find one that suits your taste

Just pick any Z270 motherboard. Any will do, it's just a matter of finding one below the 120$ mark.
