I have recently downloaded SolidWorks (CAD software) and had to uninstall and reinstall it because of an issue. When it uninstalled it didn't delete certain folders. I went to delete the folder manually, and I get an error saying "The action cannot be completed because the folder or a file in it is open by another application." I have gone into the resource manager to see which processes are using it and I get this list (Second attachment). Which processes should I end and what would happen to the system if I do?

all of them.... They are linked to that folder, so stop them all and you should be able to proceed with the delete.

they are not linked to the OS/system at all?

if they are it wont let you kill them anyways. Shouldnt have to worry about hurting your machine or causing a blue screen. If the task is a critical system task, you wont be able to end it.

hmmmmmm... boot into safe mode. You should be able to do it there. Only processes necessary to start window will start.

Open the start menu and type in msconfig and open the System Configuration app

From there select boot, and check the Safe mode radial button and restart.
